Otro de los debutantes de este 2009 fue Drake, que lanzó su primer álbum Thank Me Later. El primer single del álbum fue Replacement Girl, aunque fue con el segundo, "Best I Ever Had" con el que empezó a ser popular, alcanzando el #2 en la lista U.S. Billboard Hot 100 o el #25 en Canadá.
