Después del tema Know Your Enemy, que presentaba su último álbum 21st Century Breakdown, con menos éxito del esperado, la banda Green Day lanzan el segundo single de su álbum, "21 Guns", una canción que sigue la estela que dejaron canciones como Boulevard Of Broken Dreams o Wake Me Up When September Ends, de su anterior álbum American Idiot. De momento este tema ha logrado alcanzar el #4 en Nueva Zelanda, el #37 en U.S. Billboard Hot 100 o #23 en Australia, con unas semanas en venta digital, ya que hoy 14 de Julio sale a la venta el CD Single.

After the song Know Your Enemy, which presented their last studio album 21st Century Breakdown with less success than it was expected, the band Green Day releases the second single from this album, "21 Guns", a song that follows the line of songs as Boulevards Of Broken Dreams or Wake Me Up When September Ends from their previous album American Idiot. So far, the song has reached #4 in New Zealand, #37 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 or #23 in Australia, in only a few weeks available in digital download so today July 14th is released as a CD Single.
