Un años más, desde Actual Music World hemos querido haceros partícipes de los reconocimientos a lo mejor del año 2011 musicalmente hablando. Hace unas semanas, os propusimos una serie de votaciones para que votaseis por vuestros favoritos en las distintas categorías, y a continuación os ofrecemos la lista definitiva con los ganadores de 2011. Cabe destacar entre los ganadores nombres como Adele, LMFAO o Maroon 5, que se han llevado los premios más importantes.

Turning Tables - ADELE

El segundo álbum de estudio de Adele, titulado 21, está siendo uno de los más exitosos del año gracias a temas como Set Fire to the Rain, Someone Like You o Rolling in the Deep. El tema "Turning Tables", también incluído en el álbum, ha logrado alcanzar el #60 en Canadá, #62 en Reino Unido o #63 en U.S. Billboard Hot 100 aunque no ha sido lanzado oficialmente como single.

The second studio abum by Adele, titled as 21, is being one of the most successful albums of the year thanks to songs such as Set Fire to the Rain, Someone Like You or Rolling in the Deep. The song "Turning Tables", also included in the album, has reached #60 in Canada, #62 in the UK or #64 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 although it has not been officially released as a single.

Ayer domingo, 28 de Agosto, se celebró la gala de los MTV Video Music Awards, en la que triunfaron artistas como Adele y Katy Perry, pero donde destacaron dos artistas por encima de todos los demás. En primer lugar, nos encontramos Britney Spears, que recibía ayer un tributo a toda su carrera artística. Y la protagonista de la noche fue Beyonce, que además de actuar y de llevarse el premio a mejor coreografía, anunció su primer embarazo.

Last night, August 28th, it was held the MTV Video Music Awards show, where artists such as Adele and Katy Perry were the great winners of the night, but with two artists becoming the centre of the show. First of all, Britney Spears, who received a tribute to her whole music career. But the diva of the night was Beyonce, who performed one of her songs and won the best choreography awards, and furthermore, she announced she is waiting for her first baby.

The singer Adele is still releasing new singles from her album 21, the second in her career, with singles such as the number one hits Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You. Pero no sólo jóvenes rompecorazones nos visitarán, también podremos disfrutar del talento: la cantante Adele, que lanza nuevo álbum, del que ya os hemos presentado Rolling in the Deep, pasará también por Barcelona y Madrid para presentar este nuevo álbum y sus temas anteriores.

51st Grammy Annual Awards 2009

Ayer 8 de Febrero se celebró en el Staples Centre de Los Angeles la 51ª edición de los Premios Grammy, los grandes premios de la música mundial. Los grandes triunfadores de la noche fueron Robert Plant & Alison Krauss al conseguir 5 de los cinco premios a los que obtaban, además de Coldplay, con 3 de 7, o Kanye West con 4 de 8. Veamos uno por uno los ganadores de cada categoría, aunque debido a la gran cantidad de categorías que hay obviaremos las que tengan poco o nada que ver con la línea que sigue este blog.

Yesterday February 8th the 51st Grammy Annual Awards was held on the Staples Centre, Los Angeles, the Music's Biggest Night in the world. The great winners of the night were Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, and they won five awards, from the five categories where they were. Other winners of the night were Coldplay, with 3 of the 7 seven awards, or Kanye West with 4 of 8 awards of the categories where they were nomineed.
