Ayer domingo, 28 de Agosto, se celebró la gala de los MTV Video Music Awards, en la que triunfaron artistas como Adele y Katy Perry, pero donde destacaron dos artistas por encima de todos los demás. En primer lugar, nos encontramos Britney Spears, que recibía ayer un tributo a toda su carrera artística. Y la protagonista de la noche fue Beyonce, que además de actuar y de llevarse el premio a mejor coreografía, anunció su primer embarazo.

Last night, August 28th, it was held the MTV Video Music Awards show, where artists such as Adele and Katy Perry were the great winners of the night, but with two artists becoming the centre of the show. First of all, Britney Spears, who received a tribute to her whole music career. El pasado mes de Noviembre os propusimos una serie de votaciones para que vosotros escogiérais lo mejor del año, a través de unos premios que sirven únicamente para valorar musicalmente un año, en este caso, vosotros habéis votado y habéis decidido lo más importante que nos dio 2010. Este mes de Diciembre llega bastante fuerte en cuanto a conciertos de artistas internacionales se refiere. En primer lugar, el plato fuerte lo tendremos con Lady Gaga, que ofrecerá dos conciertos en suelo español presentando sus álbum The Fame y The Fame Monster. La cantante Ke$ha también pasará por nuestro país en el marco de conciertos Movistar, para presentarnos sus nuevos temas de Cannibal. Una de las bandas más populares del momento, 30 Seconds to Mars, también pasarán por nuestro país presentando sus últimos temas de éxito, como el último Closer to the Edge. Por último, la banda MGMT estará también en España presentando su último material. Como siempre, las ciudades escogidas en los tres casos son Madrid y Barcelona.

Empieza a ser muy habitual encontrarse a Lady GaGa en la categoría de ChartBreaker. Sus temas Poker Face, Just Dance y Bad Romance ya lo fueron en su día, con un éxito considerable. De Beyoncé podemos decir más de lo mismo, así que un dueto de ambas, no podía faltar. De hecho, el tema Video Phone de Beyonce (junto a Lady GaGa) también pasó por esta categoría, y ahora le toca el turno a "Telephone", el segundo single de la re-edición del primer álbum de Lady GaGa, The Fame Monster. De momento no se ha comercializado el videoclip y ha alcanzado el #3 en Hungría, #6 en Canadá, #8 en Australia o #12 en U.S. Billboard Hot 100, entre otros países.

It begins to be so normal to find a Lady GaGa song in the ChartBreaker category. Her songs Poker Face, Just Dance and Bad Romance became ChartBreakers, all of them with a huge success. If we talk about Beyonce, we only can say the same, many of her songs has been ChartBreakers, so a duet with the two artists, must be it too. In fact, the song Video Phone by Beyonce (feat. 2009: Actual Music World Awards

Al acabar el pasado año, os propusimos una serie de votaciones para que vosotros escogiérais lo mejor del año, a través de unos premios que sirven únicamente para valorar musicalmente un año, en este caso, vosotros habéis votado y habéis decidido lo más importante que nos dio 2009. Entre los premiados, hay que destacar a David Guetta, con 4 premios, Lady GaGa con 3, y Pixie Lott o Black Eyed Peas con 2 premios. Además, desde el propio blog, hemos decidido otorgar dos premios honoríficos, a la mejor trayectoria de una canción en lista durante 2009, tanto en nuestra Lista Oficial, como en la Lista Dance. Finalmente, queremos pedir disculpas por la tardanza en las publicaciones, sobretodo las recopilatorias del año anterior, que empezaremos a escribir en breve, ya que las últimas semanas han sido de exámenes en la universidad, y ya se sabe...

The last weeks of the past year, we purposed you some ratings in order to choose the best of the year, and give some awards which value the most important in 2009. Brit Awards 2010

El pasado 16 de febrero se celebró la ceremonia de premios de los Brit Awards 2010, los premios más importantes de la música británica, en Londres. Lady GaGa fue la gran triufadora de la noche, llevándose hasta 3 premios, mientras destacaban también otros artistas como Lily Allen, JLS, o Jay-Z, entre otros premiados.

The ceremony of the Brit Awards 2010, the most important awards of the British music, was held the last February 16th on London. Lady GaGa was the great winner, so she won three awards. 52nd Grammy Annual Awards 2010

Ayer 31 de Enero de 2010 se celebró en Los Angeles la 52ª edición de los premios Grammy, en la que Beyonce se alzó como gran triunfadora, llevándose un total de seis premios, de los 10 a los que optaba. Otros artistas destacados fueron Taylor Swift, Kings of Leon, Black Eyed Peas o Lady GaGa. Sasha Fierce, del que hace no mucho lanzó una re-edición. En esa edición encontramos el tema "Video Phone", que ya estaba en el álbum original, pero en esta ocasión haciendo un dúo con Lady GaGa, nominada a 5 Grammy's este año. Entre las dos acumulan 15 nominaciones a los premios más importantes de la música por lo que el éxito está casi asegurado. Se ha celebrado una nueva edición de los AMA's (American Music Awards) y esta vez tampoco se ha librado de la polémica. El artista Adam Lambert, conocido gracias a su participación en American Idol, provocó las críticas de muchos al simular besos y felaciones con uno de sus bailarines encima del escenario. Pero fuera de toda esa polémica, vamos a los premios que es lo que nos interesa. La gran ganadora de la noche fue Taylor Swift, aunque Michael Jackson se llevó 4 galardones después de su muerte.
