Esta pasada madrugada (hora española) se han dado los galardones más importantes cinematográficamente hablando, los Oscar. En ellos, Slumdog Millionaire ha arrasado, y entre todos sus galardones se ha llevado el de mejor Banda Sonora y el de Mejor Canción por Jai Ho. Recordad que las tres nominadas de las que ya hablamos en este blog eran Down To Earth de Peter Gabriel representando el film Wall-E y O Saya y Jai Ho de A.R. Rahman representando el film Slumdog Millionaire. Finalmente la ganadora ha sido Jai Ho. Durante el transcurso de la gala, se interpretaron las tres canciones, entrelazadas y mezcladas, en una especie de pupurri.
